This kit contains three different verification samples: stainless steel (AISI 316/316L), fused quartz (amorphous silica, SiO2), and PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate).

These isotropic bulk samples are intended for performing verification measurements with Hot Disk® instruments – via either single-sided or double-sided method. Such isotropic bulk testing mainly targets the use of our Kapton-insulated Hot Disk sensor models 7577, 5465, 5501, 8563, and 4922 , as well as Mica-insulated Hot Disk sensor models 5082, 4921, and 4922. For reference, our own data from repeated double-sided measurements with these sensor models are tabulated in the accompanying leaflet and stored on the USB flash drive.
